Only Three Steps to Severn

614km permanent cycling event starting from Broken CrossCheshire.

You can use E-Brevet proof of passage on this event.

Perm version of the 'Three Steps to Severn' Calendar event. A fast start across the plains of Cheshire and North Shropshire to Newtown. Then a-lot-less-hilly-than-you'd-think run due South through Wales To Llandovery, followed by an equally surprising fast and scenic run through Brecon and Abergavenny to Magor Services on the M4. Then over the old Severn Bridge and return North thro' Gloucester and the Heart of England.XXXXXX

Booking a room at one of the several Motels which the route passes would be ideal. The Travelodge at Severn View is well placed for a sleep stop.XXXXXXXXX
The route was specifically designed to be ridden starting from Macclesfield at 6am on a Saturday. This ensures very low traffic levels through sections, such as the A38 to and through Gloucester, which would otherwise be dangerous for cycling.

NON-MEMBERS are welcome but need to register first. This is free - we ask you to do this so we can verify your contact details. You only need to register once and can then enter multiple events or in future convert to paid membership.

PARENTAL CONSENT is required for entrants under 18 years of age. This can be declared by the parent/guardian making an online entry on behalf of the under 18 rider. Otherwise, although an entry can be made online, the parent/guardian should complete and sign the parental consent form available here.
