Description

206km cycling event starting from Aylesbury, Bucks, HP21 7QX. Controls at Reading Train Station, Trinity Coffee Shop, Aylesbury, Stony Stratford and Trinity Coffee Shop, Aylesbury., plus 4 information controls.

Start & Lunch & Finish locations at Trinity Coffee Shop, Aylesbury. Easy access from A41 and Marylebone. Pay & display parking. Travelodge 5 min from Station

The ride is set up for a February ride. The route is mostly on priority 1 gritted roads, tracking out and back to Reading using shared cyclist pedestrian Thames bridge, then looping North of Aylesbury (Cholesbury, Stony Stratford, Claydons). Please note event entry may close early if rider limit is reached.

This is an event for experienced Randonneurs, capable of riding long distances in all conditions through the winter, carrying all necessary food, clothing, spares, first aid, etc., suitable for such conditions. Proof of passage has to be obtained by the entrant at main controls which are at commercial outlets. Entry on the day only if spare cards are available; please may you check with the organiser beforehand. All proceeds go to Holy Trinity, Aylesbury.
