109km cycling event starting from Shrewsbury. Controls at Whixall Marina and Bayston Hill., plus 2 information controls.

Starting a Bayston Hill Community Centre with free parking and some light refreshments available.

The route heads north west through Baschurch to Welsh Frankton before turning for Ellesmere and the lovely cafe stop at Whixall Marina.

The return leg ambles across the North Shropshire Plain, through the quiet villages of Marchamley, Great Bolas and High Ercall. After crossing the River Severn at Atcham it is just a short hop back to the finish.

Undulating with one short climb this is the ideal first Audax or early season target.
