Description

124km cycling event starting from Dore, Sheffield. Controls at Edibles Farm and Heeley Institute Finish., plus 3 information controls.

An out and back on mostly different roads to Edibles Organic Farm in Marsden for the control/lunch stop. After lunch a slightly hillier route back taking in some spectacular West and South Yorkshire scenery.

Sheffield CTC's shorter August Audax allows riders to take in some of the best South and West Yorkshire have to offer to cyclists. Lunch/control at Edibles organic farm, home of the famous 'Cowshed' music venue where they might just fire up the pizza oven if there enough riders.
The route takes in the famous town of Holmfirth passing through both 'Thongs' allowing riders to make up their own 70's double entendres.
