Description

205km cycling event starting from Dore, Sheffield. Controls at Elsecar: Obtain Stamp At Brambles Tea Room In Elsecar Heritage Centre., Glews Services, Near Goole: Obtain Receipt Or Bank Chit, Bawtry: Obtain Receipt Or Bank Chit and Dore Old School Hall., plus 7 information controls.

The ride extends the hilly Ring of Steel route which circumnavigates the Sheffield-Rotherham conurbation, some of it along the 2014 Tour de France route, by adding a fairly flat section that circles Doncaster.

Sections through the Peak District follow the 2014 Tour de France route and the flat section includes part of the 2017 Tour of Britain route.
