Tour of the Hills

Description

115km cycling event starting from Shere Village Hall, Guildford GU5 9HE. Controls at Ockley, Sheepleas Car Park, Ewhurst, St Martha's Hill Car Park, Farley Heath, Cranleigh and Shere., plus 2 information controls.

After the 2020 event was cancelled, 2021 will be the 39th year the club has run the Tour of the Hills. It's a classic if challenging route across the main peaks in the Surrey Hills area.

Entry fee includes drinks and snacks - served pre-ride, mid-ride and post-ride by club members and volunteers. We might need to simplify catering this year for Covid safety.
Riders who are not CUK or AUK members must purchase temporary AUK insurance (£3) when registering.
Please book online early. Entry on the day is subject to availability - £15 cash-only.

NON-MEMBERS are welcome but need to register first. This is free - we ask you to do this so we can verify your contact details. You only need to register once and can then enter multiple events or in future convert to paid membership.

PARENTAL CONSENT is required for entrants under 18 years of age. This can be declared by the parent/guardian making an online entry on behalf of the under 18 rider. Otherwise, although an entry can be made online, the parent/guardian should complete and sign the parental consent form available here.
