Description

A hilly loop over the high climbs of West Yorkshire and the Peak District. First control is at Edibles Organic Farm then it is a tough and spectacular route back to Sheffield
Sheffield CTC's August Audax allows riders to take advantage of the hopefully fine weather to pack in some of the most spectacular climbs in West Yorkshire and the Peak District. Marsden Moor, Saddleworth Moor, Holme Moss, Pym Chair, Axe Edge and Crowdecote Bank are among the best in just under 5000 metres of climbing.
Edibles Organic Farm will provide the first control after 53 Kms. Eat well here and then info controls all the way round till the finish. Plenty excellent Cafes and foodshops on the way round with hot food and drinks provided at the finish.
