Back for 2025, a '5 Star Reviewed' 100k cycling event exploring the Chew Lakes & Mendips starting from Warmley Waiting Room.

Starting from Warmley Waiting Room opening early for Drinks & Rolls.

Explore the beauty of the Chew Lakes & the Mendips which is officially recognised as an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

You will pass along the Avon Valley Railway on the B2B cycle path before climbing up and riding through one of Bath's best-kept secrets and considered one of Seven Cycle Wonders of the World - The iconic Two Tunnels @ 1.03 miles in length it is the longest cycling tunnel in the UK.

As you continue along the Greenway Cycle Path you will have fine views of the Cotswold Countryside and the Gothic Style Midford Castle.

Next, ride past Chew Valley Lakes before climbing to the top of the Mendips on the Old Bristol Road.

Stop at the top of the Mendips to control at the Coffee Box Mobile Cafe for refreshments before descending through Burrington Combe Gorge.

Next, a rolling section brings you back to Warmley Waiting Rooms Cafe.

Mostly quiet lanes and roads with easy navigation.

Thanks Oliver for a good route up and back onto the Mendip hills. Some interesting roads chosen and unavoidable sections of busy roads. Overall enjoyable ride, good way to kick start the new-years cycling.
