A 329km cycling event that is 200 miles in old money and starting from the outskirts of Tamworth. Free controls at Uttoxeter, Wem, Malpas, Wrexham & Penkridge plus 2 info controls
Pub start with ample free car parking, 2.5 miles from Tamworth Railway Station.

Leaving the outskirts of Tamworth on mostly quiet undulating lanes the route heads through the Marchington Woodlands to the market town of Uttoxeter, then across Staffordshire to the town of Wem in Shropshire. Then heading to Wales through the charming village of Malpas and onto the outskirts of Wrexham. Then an undulating route to the market town of Oswestry then onto Shrewsbury along a national cycle route and by the river Severn.

The return takes riders on a more southerly route with spectacular views across to the Shropshire Hills. After the control at Penkridge riders will cross Cannock Chase, before dropping back towards Tamworth with an info control at Lullington.
