Description

Third ride of the Trooper Series extending TGV rides from the beautiful Cotswolds AONB into the quiet roads and lanes of Oxfordshire. Passage through the historic town of Malmesbury past the Abbey ruins towards the first stop at the excellent Flying Monk Café & Taproom where you can purchase a barista made coffee and a cake (breakfasts also available). The next coffee stop is at Fire & Flow Coffee roastery but you have to have the legs working as you go through Tetbury, an ancient Anglo-Saxon town built as a hill fort and onwards to reach the ride summit. From this point on thankfully the elevation trends downwards for a good while. A further control point at Aston Pottery and an info control at Grove surviving a few more hills before rounding the ride off at Tadpole Garden Village.
