Description
A classic Scottish 600 starting just West of Edinburgh and visiting many of the best parts of the Southern Highlands, including the spectacular Ardnamurchan Peninsula.
Controls at South Queensferry, Aberfeldy, Crianlarich or Tyndrum, Corran Ferry, Acharacle or Glenuig, Fort William, Oban, Lochearnhead or Callander and South Queensferry.
This is a traditional advisory route audax. You are free to start from any control and use any route between them. Be aware that in the peak summer months the A82 between Crianlarich and Fort William and the A828 North of Oban can become very busy with tourist traffic and these sections of the route are best traversed late evening, at night or early in the morning. If you would like to discuss your planned ride strategy prior to entering, dont hesitate to get in touch. Your ride can be validated using the E-brevet app, with a GPS track, or traditionally using a paper brevet card. Please allow plenty of time for me to post you a paper brevet card if you choose that method.
