A 206k ride passing through the highest points in the five counties of Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Essex. 2006m elevation gain.
Refreshments are available at the following controls, Church Farm Cafe near Aldbury, Chilterns Gateway Centre, Dunstable Downs and Mill End Plants, Rushden. Other stops popular with cyclists are Spokes Cafe, Codicote and The Hub, Redbourn. Spokes cafe and cycle workshop can be found slightly off the route at Ridge Farm, Codicote AL6 9UA. The Hub Coffee Bar, 22 High St, Redbourn, St Albans AL3 7LL.
