Description

This permanent event cannot be ridden on the same day as the calendar event which is 19th April 2026.

Marton lane in Gawsworth is expected to be closed until 19th June, the route file has been updated with an alternative.

Starting from the Costa Coffee shop in Poynton Mill Meece is a 100 mile trip to Staffordshire and back. The ride is fairly flat, but be prepared for some short testing climbs in the Silverdale area.
The route passes the rather striking Pumping Stations at Hatton and Mill Meece, both built over a century ago to supply water for the Potteries.
There is pay as you go parking at the start behind Waitrose via the ringo app and Poynton train station is less than 2k from the start.
