Description

Perm version of the 'Three Steps to Severn' Calendar event. A fast start across the plains of Cheshire and North Shropshire to Newtown. Then a-lot-less-hilly-than-you'd-think run due South through Wales To Llandovery, followed by an equally surprising fast and scenic run through Brecon and Abergavenny to Magor Services on the M4. Then over the old Severn Bridge and return North thro' Gloucester and the Heart of England.XXXXXX Booking a room at one of the several Motels which the route passes would be ideal. The Travelodge at Severn View is well placed for a sleep stop.XXXXXXXXX The route was specifically designed to be ridden starting from Macclesfield at 6am on a Saturday. This ensures very low traffic levels through sections, such as the A38 to and through Gloucester, which would otherwise be dangerous for cycling.
