Description
This is not just one ride but two different ones. You can decide to ride the entirely onroad version, 109km, or use the offroad version, 116km. Both rides start and finish at the Shell petrol station in Dean Row near Wilmslow, while the Unicorn Inn next door is a good place to recover after your ride. There is parking in the nearby layby on Wilmslow Road.
The controls for both versions are in the same place, so you can ride using the eBrevet, but note the different codes depending on whether you ride clockwise or anticlockwise direction. Or use traditional method of collecting till receipts. You can also simply record your progress and submit the GPX file but not a Strava link.

Audlem Perm road version
This uses plenty of pleasant Cheshire lanes through Peover and Davenham to the first control at Cuddington. The next leg features an optional stop at the Station House Café at Whitegate, open 7 days before 2:30. Although it is not a control, it is highly recommended cafe stop. The next control is at Radway Green, where you can get a hot drink from the Spar shop, or you can detour to Alsager for a Costa. The final section returns to Dean Row via Smallwood and Siddington.
Audlem Perm offroad version
This is suitable for gravel bikes but road bikes will be fine if its not too wet. You stop at the same controls Radway Green and Cuddington but in a clockwise direction and includes offroad sections:
Sandy Lane before Swettenham has a ford but use the footbridge and a landslip, boith of which are probably best on foot
a couple of gates when crossing the Dane after Swettenham
Pools Lane at Brookhouse Green, not really offroad but its little used so can be a bit mucky
a short stretch of bridle way alongside Bottom Flash in Winsford
the entire Whitegate Way
the Swains Walk bridle way at Over Tabley
There is a café at Whitegate Station, not a control but highly recommended. There are also plenty of cafes in Knutsford and Tatton Hall.
