Description

122km cycling event starting from Nantwich. Controls at Baschurch, Holt and Nantwich.

A pleasant days riding Cheshire and Shropshire lanes with a brief foray into Wales. Designed as an ideal introduction to audaxing, relatively flat so you can focus on the distance.

From Nantwich you ride to Baschurch riding through Wrenbury, Whitchurch and Whixall. At Baschurch we visit the pleasant Moor Farm where there is a shop or cafe to choose from. Onwards passing through Ellesmere, Overton and Bangor-on Dee to control at the historic border town of Holt with plenty of refreshment options. Suitable fortified for the remaining 30km you cross the medieval bridge to return to England leaving Tilston, Cholmondely and Chorley to pass through on your return journey to Nantwich HQ where refreshments await
