Deben River Ride

Description

56km cycling event starting from Debenham, Suffolk. Controls at Valley Farm (Stamp), Wickham Market (Receipt) and Debenham Leisure Centre (Stamp)., plus 1 information control.

Community Fundraiser. Ride the Deben river and back; from Debenham at its source to Ufford near the tidal estuary.

An undulating start will take you through Winston, Framsden and Hoo to Letheringham Mill before criss crossing the river passing Wickham Market, charming villages and scenic countryside. Apart from being a lovely ride, the event is intended as a taster to Audax riding; giving experience of following a route sheet and recording your passage on a brevet card. And tea and cakes as well, of course
