A 117km cycling event from the outskirts of Tamworth, Staffordshire. Controls at Uttoxeter & Great Haywood plus 2 information controls.

Pub start with ample parking. 2.5 miles from Tamworth Railway Station.

Revival of a cycling event originally devised and organised by the late Geoff Cleaver. The route begins on the outskirts of Tamworth quickly heading out on mostly quiet roads across the River Trent and on into the heart of Staffordshire. After skirting the Marchington Woodlands the first control is at Bramshall before the route swings towards, but not across, Cannock Chase and the second control at Great Haywood. Thereafter a flat and easy run back to Tamworth for pub grub and beer if so inclined.
