218km cycling event starting from Streatham Common, London. Controls at Forest Row, Mayfield, Langton Green, Crockenhill, Edenbridge and Streatham Common., plus 3 information controls.

The classic day-long trip around the High Weald is back in the calendar after a 10 year hiatus. Takes in some of the best climbs on the borders of Kent, Surrey, Sussex and London.

From a Scout hut start in South London it's a short run south to the start of the climbing. And then the climbing keeps going but with lovely views and rural lanes. There are 5 free controls requiring receipts from shops, cafés or pubs plus a couple of information controls (answer the questions on the brevet card provided) to keep you on track. On your arrival at the arrivee you'll be greeted with hot food, hot tea and cold beer. Entries close the evening before, no 'on the line' entry available. Counts towards the Grimpeurs du Sud award and qualifies for the Gold Grimpeur Medal.

Any profits from the event will be donated to Cyclists Fighting Cancer (www.cyclistsfc.org.uk) who help children and young people living with cancer across the UK regain their physical fitness, improve mental wellness and reduce social isolation by giving them new lightweight bikes, specially adapted trikes, cycling related equipment and support.
