Description
Classic Welsh ride linking the south coast to the north and taking in all the good bits between. Entry fee includes pre-departure breakfast in Tenbys Dennis Cafe. Overnight accommodation in North Wales not included
A majestic ride taking in everything Wales has to offer as you traverse from one end to the other via many of the headline must ride roads. Starting in Tenby Dinbych-y-pysgod the route heads up the Towy Valley over Sugar Loaf before joining the Wye and Upper Severn valleys. Crossing Bwlch Y Goes, the highest paved road in Wales, you then make your way through Eastern Snowdonia, passing the other Dinbych, to the north coast at Rhyl. Tracing a flatter route around Snowdonia, you then pass southwards again on the west coast, taking in Harlech and the Barmouth crossing. The route gains the upper Teifi via the Nant Y Moch mountain road, before regaining Pembrokeshire. A lumpy weekend out in Wales. Note that this is an X-rated event: accommodation en route is not included in the entry fee. Well provide a list of obvious options, of which there a plenty, but youll need to book and pay for it it yourself asap.
Please note - this is an x-rated event with a postal finish. Riders are encouraged to use e-brevet to help streamline the ride administration.
