Description
A ride in the South Downs National Park, combining traffic free cycleways, quiet country lanes and roads. Two notable climbs, where rides cross the South Downs Way ridge.
Heading West to Denmead, then over the Butser Hill cycleway at Queen Elizabeth Country Park. Through the South Downs National Park on quiet roads and lanes into Sussex. A hill climb at Duncton back over the South Downs ridge and to quiet lanes again. Join the Centurion Way a disused railway line at West Dean, down to Chichester and onto Bosham by the sea. Then return to finish back at Rowlands Castle.
Entry fee includes tea, coffee and biscuits at the start, drinks and snacks at the control, and food and drink at the finish.
