This event travels through areas that have either experienced or been at high risk of wild fires and related road closures during the hot dry summer this year, please check local reports before riding this event and do not ride if there are any active wildfires or road closures.
A ride to Craggies Farm shop and cafe in the hills of Cragg Vale returning via Hollingworth Lake . The route starts from the train station in bottom Mossley. Craggies is open seven days but closes between 3pm and 4pm every day, the varied menu has homemade pies, pastries and cakes and the cafe is situated to offer great views over the moors. Wildhouse lane B625 can be very busy at weekends and in school holidays
