Description
Cowley Road CondorsOxfords friendliest cycling clubare excited to present the fifth edition of our summer Audax
To honour this fallow year and give familiar roads a fresh twist, this years Condordax will run anticlockwise along the classic route, with a few thoughtful tweaks to keep things flowing smoothly. Starting from our usual venue at the Tap Social Taproom in Oxford, the ride heads west into the North Wessex Downs, returns via the Chilterns, and offers plenty of scenic flat sections and long summer daylight to enjoy.
In the true spirit of our club, the Cowley Road Condors embrace every kind of cyclingfrom relaxed café spins to racing and time trials. Were passionate about sharing the joy of longdistance riding with both new and experienced cyclists, and we especially welcome riders from underrepresented groups or anyone wondering, Is Audax for me
With that in mind, weve designed this Oxfordbased event to offer a friendly and accessible introduction to Audax riding.
Everythingroute, controls, venue, and time of yearhas been carefully chosen to create a positive, confidencebuilding experience that we hope will inspire further Audax adventures.
If youve ridden this Audax before, youll enjoy seeing wellknown roads from a brandnew perspective as the loop is reversed this year.

A simple, accessible start location.
Please cycle to the start if possible. Tap Social is on a business estate with enforced parking restrictions.
For those arriving by car, Seacourt Park Ride is just 500m away and open 24/7 parking charges apply.
Oxford Train Station is approx. 2km from the start, and the event timing should support travel by rail.
If parking access is a barrier, please get in touchwere here to help.
