Description
Ride the Coast Wolds Adventure
Starting from the iconic Meridian Point in Cleethorpes, this stunning ride kicks off with sea air in your lungs and the open road ahead. Sweep down the Lincolnshire coast to Mablethorpe, with wide-open beaches and endless horizons setting the tone for the day. From there, turn inland and tackle the rolling beauty of the Lincolnshire Wolds AONB a landscape of quiet lanes, sweeping climbs, and breathtaking views all the way to Horncastle, where a well-earned stop awaits.
Refuel, then press on through Dunholme and Hibaldstow, before joining the ancient Ermine Street, a road steeped in history that guides you north to Winterton. From here, the route picks up the South Humber Bank, offering big skies and fast, flowing miles.
A final climb delivers you to Barton-upon-Humber, the perfect spot for one last coffee or pint before your triumphant return. Roll back into Cleethorpes, finishing where you began at Meridian Point, cruising the promenade with that unbeatable end-of-ride glow.
