Description
Provided as a more accessible companion to Aces High, Tailgunner is aimed at riders who are not quite sure about taking on a 200K just yet, or maybe havent fully emerged from their winter hibernation. The Iron Maiden track of the same name draws on the horrors and realities of World War II aerial bombing campaigns and therefore dovetails in nicely with the spitfire themed Aces High. A shorter distance, but still with our Maiden-inspired style.
A moderately challenging ride, starting in Tadpole Garden Village with 2 info controls and 1 coffee stop!
This ride is new for the 2027 Audax season and is run in addition to the TGV Audax Trooper Series typically scheduled between April and July riders who complete all four distances in the series will receive a complimentary patch. Keep a look out on the calendar for my events!

- This is a shoestring event with complimentary refreshments and light snacks
- The time of the event is as per the calendar listing and is non negotiable
- The start is an outdoor public space
- There is no parking on street is available
- There are no toilet facilities provided
- Daytime lights are recommended
- Mudguards are not mandatory but recommended
- The route sheet should be read by all riders as it may contain information on optional supplies stops, road types and surface conditions
