A Costa Coffee start from Prestwich via Simister, Heywood, skirting Rochdale to Bacup for the halfway point. Then return to Prestwich via Rawtenstall and Bury. This year the main road from between Bacup and Rawtsenstall is avoided in preference for a usuable nearby cycle trail.

Prestwich is just off Junction 17 of the M60 and there is free parking available nearby. It is 7km from Manchester city centre train stations.
