Description
Classic Welsh coast to coast to coast ride taking in most of the good bits between. Overnight accommodation in North Wales not included. Starting in Tenby Dinbych-y-pysgod the route heads up the Towy Valley over Sugar Loaf before joining the Wye and Upper Severn valleys. Crossing Bwlch Y Goes, the highest paved road in North Wales, you then make your way through Eastern Snowdonia, passing the other Dinbych en route to the north coast at Rhyl and the North Wales coast track to Conwy. A somewhat flatter route back through Snowdonia is traced towards the west coast, taking in Harlech and the Barmouth crossing southbound. The route gains the upper Teifi via the Nant Y Moch mountain road, before returning to Pembrokeshire over the Preseli Mountains. A lumpy weekend out in Wales with well over an Everests worth of elevation accrued.
