The Four Castles of South Devon

Description

109km cycling event starting from Brixham cricket club, Brixham. Controls at Staverton Railway Station, Aune Valley Cafe, Loddiswell and Finish. Brixham Cricket Club., plus 5 information controls.

A new 109km audax event that will take riders on a tour into the beautiful South Devon countryside. The route links Berry Pomeroy, Compton, Totnes and Dartmouth castles.

The route will feature a mix of twisty lanes, coastal roads, challenging climbs and tricky descents. Along the way there will be two controls at 36km and 71km (with food available to purchase) and five additional information controls. Theres a short ferry crossing of the River Dart before the final climb back to Brixham.
Included in the entry are teas and coffee at the start and the Dartmouth ferry crossing. The cricket club bar will be open at the finish. Hot food can also be pre-ordered. Menu to follow.
