Description
A picturesque tour around the Brecon Beacons. Leaving Llandrindod Wells and taken a quick through Builth Wells the ride quickly establishes itself on quiet lanes towards Tirsbad. Here you climb up on to and cross the wrst side of Mynedd Epynt, through the Army ranges. Its a short hop dropping down to Sennybridge and the first control
Out of Sennybridge and after time to earm-up the vlimbing legs, you'll ascend The Devils Elnow, enjoy yhe long drop (and an up) to Penderyn .
Cutting over to wards Cefn Coed, skirting the north Merthy following the lanes passing the Talybont reservoirs leads to the hallway control at Talybont-on-Usk. Proceeding down the south side of the Usk valley picking-up an info at Abergavenny, you'll soon find yourself on the shallow climb ascending and cresting the Gospel Pass, after enjoying the vistas from the highest paved road in Wales, the next control at Hay-on-Wye will soon vom into view. Leaving Hay behind, the route now heads North, rolling across country through the hamlet of Hundred House, ultimately to drop down Howey and soon back to arriveé where you started.
