Description
Paris and Moscow in West Yorkshire, that is, both passed on this loop through the green belt surrounding the LeedsBradfordHuddersfield industrial belt. Possible cafe stops in the first half then excellent refreshments at the end.
Hilly outward leg heads through Summer Wine country and the Pennine foothills to the UNESCO heritage village of Saltaire. The route then turns eastwards, eventually reaching flatter country south of York, before the South Yorkshire ridges provide a sting in the tail.
All proceeds will be donated to Woodhead Mountain Rescue.
