Description
A BP Dick Turpin route which passes his cottage in Thaxted and birthplace at the Bluebell Inn, Hempstead. Could use main A/B gritted roads (106km 470m of climbing) but there is the option of a mostly quiet and laney 113km route (567m). Café or shop control in Saffron Walden and options of shop, pub or café in Acton. Works well in reverse or start anywhere on/near the route.
