Description
A straight forward winter event aimed at experienced randonneurs wanting to get out and ride a 200km in December.
The route is specifically designed to offer an event in early December when the weather could be an issue. The route purposely stays away from lanes and the high ground. The route purposely joins together long sections on B roads which should be well maintained, and in the case of cold weather, gritted if required, although never guaranteed of course. The bulk of the route is on B roads with few sections on A roads. This should help riders get around quickly, reducing the time out in potentially poor weather and makes for straightforward navigation. Starts from a Greggs with a pub finish, three evenly spaced commercial control options, as well as passing many other opportunities, and three easy info questions. For more information please visit my website -
