Description
A scenic high level route around the North Pennines. Good options for cafe/food stops along the route if needed.
The North Pennines is a distinctive landscape of high moorland and broad upland dales in the North of England. It is one of the most remote and unspoilt places in England. The route goes across Alston Moor, Yad Moss, Newbiggin Common and the climb from Cowshill over Allendale Common before descending the Allen Valley to return to Ponteland.
Event is currently planned as a roadside start with a Village Hall finish.
Riders are expected to be self-sufficient on the ride. There are options to stop at Cafes or shops along the route if you choose to do so.
