Description
New 400km event from Chepstow taking in some of Mid Wales most breath-taking countryside, hills and mountains. The full RWGPS route is available to see in the Organisers Website link. You will initially leave Wales to Ross on Wye Hereford and then on to Newtown, Machynlleth, taking the Borth costal road to Aberystwyth and onto the well known Audax Control at Tregaron. You will then climb out of Tregaron and past the Nant y Maen Red Phone Box, climb the Devils Staircase and on to Llanwrtyd Wells, Builth Wells, Brecon, Abergavenny and back to Chepstow to Arrivée at the 24hr Garage. With all Commercial Controls and 3 Information Controls the route is X-rated with 5,375m of descending and 6 AAAs. E-Brevet is available.
