Description

Revised route, easy navigation throughout, along some of the prettiest lanes & river valleys in the Principality. Experience the spectacular views crossing Mynydd Eppynt not once but twice !

The ride heads West from Tewkesbury to & through the outer edges of the Forest of Dean, and an early morning riverside excursion before a breakfast stop at Monmouth. Crossing from the Wye to continue along the Usk valley, you cycle on to control at Talybont-on-Usk. The route then make's it way across the Eastern side of Epynt to Llanwrtyd Wells where you get chance to refuel before returning to Talybont-on-Usk via the Western side of Epynt.

After Talybont-on-Usk the ride returns along the Usk valley to the Wye Valley using quite roads and lanes. Final on the road control at Simonds Yat East. Final stage is a benign retrace out of the Forest of Dean back to The Severn Vale and arrivee at Tewkesbury.
