Description

THIS Event will CLOSE on APRIL 6th, SOONER IF FULL - SORRY, BUT ABSOLUTELY NO LATE OR ENTRIES ON THE LINE.
A memorial ride in honour of AUK member Stephen Rogers. ALL PROCEEDS from this event will be donated to Oxfordshire Air Ambulance. A pretty Cotswold route, and follows many vias that Stephen rode.
The ride leaves Tewkesbury heading east towards the Cotswolds, rising up onto the wolfs via Stanway Hill, probably the gentlest climb. Then on through the market town of Stow-on-the-Wold cutting through to the first control at The Old Mill, Chipping Norton. Heading South passing a well known farm shop, through Chadlington, Wychwood Forest, Minster Lovell, Bampton and eventually to the second control at the M4 East services Membury. For the he third leg, you'll head West generally following lanes along the M4 corridor, keeping south of Swindon, and onto and through Royal Wootton Bassett. The route then heads North up through Aston Keynes, Siddington to a free control at Cirencester. Departing Cirencester you follow the A435 to the top of Charlton Hill where you drop down and navigate through the town, then out through Bishop's Cleeve back to Tewkesbury.
