Description

Ideal for those wanting to try an Audax event for the first time and wanting a relatively gentle ride around the beautiful Eden Valley and the Solway Coast on generally quiet roads.
No Major climbs and several options to stop at shops or cafe's for those who want to.
A hybrid event somewhere between the 160/120 versions with a control/cafe stop at Bowness on Solway (94km) and several cafe/shop choices before this. A generous time limit so you can enjoy the day and have a leisurely time if you want to with two or possibly even three optional cafe stops!
Event is currently planned as a roadside start in Brampton and finish at Newtown Village Hall, 2 miles outside Brampton. It's an easy ride back from Newtown to Brampton.
In addition to the control at Bowness on Solway, there are information controls at Culgaith and Rockcliffe before the finish.
