Description

A new 300 to the Audax UK calendar (303km actual) starting from the picturesque Twyn Square, Usk using well known Audax roads. An inviting route designed either for riders new to this distance, randonneurs looking for a relaxed longer ride or perhaps riders looking to push the pace! A relatively flat route to from Usk to the Black Shed at Sheppards Patch, via Monmouth and the Wye Valley. Then it's back to Usk and on to Talybont, after which the route takes on Llangynidr's Official 100 Climbs #94 and fast decent (care!) in to LLangottock and on to to Raglan via Abergavenny. Then a steady climb/ descent back to Chepstow and down the Wye Valley to Monmouth. Arrivee is back at the start in The Castle Inn, Twyn Square Usk. There are plenty of options for food and drink in between controls. E-Brevet will be available
