Description

Relatively basic 400k event starting from Dalkeith. Controls at Duns, Wooler, Hawick, Gretna, Abington plus two info controls.
New for 2025 as part of the SBR SR series. Take a clockwise loop around the unnofficial boundary of the SBR region. Starting from Dalkeith with a climb into and over the Lammermuirs to Duns via Redstone Rig and into Northumberland at Wooler. After Wooler, it's west over rolling countryside towards Hawick and Newcastleton before a pit stop at Gretna Services. After Gretna, along the Solway Coast to Dumfries and Moniaive before tackling the Dalveen Pass towards Abington and then home. TLC TBC - but likely a vehicle based feed-stop at the 200k mark in lieu of an event HQ.
