Description

Ride over roads built in the mid 1800s during the Highland Potato famine to create work for the starving agricultural workers. They weren't paid much but it was enough to help save them from dying of starvation, unlike the Irish Potato Famine of the same era but be under no illusion malnutrition was still rife.
Visit the Arctic Convoy Memorial at the end of Loch Ewe. During WW2, many died in a bid to support the Soviet war effort and if you get time you may want to visit the museum at Altbea after about 120k.
