Description

A pretty ride, mainly along the quiet lanes of Herefordshire and Worcestershire. Good quality commercial controls used with hot/cold food & drink availble at all stops. The first stage heads west from Tewkesbury to cross the Wye valley and a simple stop at Wormelow Tump PO. Simple navigation into/along the Golden valley to Hay-on-Wye. The return route passes one of the oldest Oak trees in the UK, through sleepy villages to Bromyard for and afternoon tea stop at Flowerdew's Cafe. Final stage gives unusual views of Malvern hills, the ride concludes with a circumnavigation of Bredon Hill and then a drop to arrivee back in Tewkesbury. Free all-day parking available - with prior arrangement.
